Scout Survival Day at the Farm
Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
River Islands & the Boy and Girl Scouts of America present a fun-filled day at Dell’Osso Farms! Participants will learn what to do if you get lost in the woods, how to make a fire, tie knots, and set-up a tent! We will be making dinner and dessert over the fire, and children will go home with a first aid kit, a Scout badge, and a small pumpkin!
- Ticket includes: General admission to the farm, survival skills training, campfire dinner and dessert, scout badge, first aid kit and small pumpkin.
- Limited spots available!
- These activities will be targeted to children ages 6-12, though older siblings are welcome to attend!
- Dinner and dessert will be provided.
- The event may be postponed due to inclement weather.
- There are no refunds for ticket holders who do not attend.
- Please wear or bring a jacket, close-toed shoes, and long pants. The temperatures drop quite low in the evening!
- Adult chaperones must stay with child.
- Please bring your own sit-upon if you do not want to sit on the grass.
- Leave No Trace! Please bring reusable water bottles. We will have water for refilling.
IMPORTANT ~ Must redeem your email receipt at the front entry gate to receive wristbands in order to enter. Ticket is only valid 10/12.
